Planning Process
Planning a family tree project involves several key decisions. We can walk through each step together during a free, no-obligation consultation. Or if you know what you’re looking for, you can request a quote.
Key Decisions in Planning Your Tree:
Number of People: First, consider how much family information you want to display. How much information do you have, and how many generations do you want to display in this project?
Design and Format: After determining the number of people to include, you can select a design. Your chosen design will help determine the best format for your tree
Additional elements: Once you have chosen your design and format, you can decide whether to include a tree title or an image, such as a family photo or crest.
Artwork Size: Choose your size. Family tree artwork is designed to fit standard frame sizes of 11x14, 16x16, and 16x20 inches. You can also customize the size if you want something different.
Final Product: Decide how you'd like to receive your artwork: digital file only, unframed print, or a fully framed piece ready to gift or display.

Timing
Although every project is different, most follow this general timeline unless research or extensive customization is involved.
First draft shared within 1 week after proposal approval, deposit, and submission of family info
Revisions shared based on your feedback, until approval
Once you approve the artwork, I’ll send a final invoice. Delivery—whether digital or physical—will begin once the final payment is received
Delivery:
Digital file: within 2 business days
Print production begins within 3–5 business days
Framing: ~2 weeks turnaround
Shipping via FedEx or UPS (best rate)
Customers in the Cincinnati area also have the option of an in-person handoff.
